A Tragic Loss

Just as the Krewe of BATT was preparing for a stellar 2010 football season, we were sidelined by the heartbreaking loss of beloved krewe member, Brent Poor. Husband to Stacy, father to Devin and Madison, son to Joe Mike and Linda, and brother to Meredith, Nick, and Kristen, he will be missed by all those who knew him! Our tailgate will never be quite the same without him.....but we will do our best to circle the wagons around his family and make sure the memory of this amazing man will NEVER be forgotten! Below is a few photos of Brent doing what he loved most......spending time with friends and family.

PSALM 34:18
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

PSALM 30:5

Weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning

Those of us who were fortunate to know Brent will miss him dearly. He was a good man, a wonderful father and a loving husband.

Isaih 57-1,2
1 The righteous perish, and no one ponders it in his heart; devout men are taken away, and no one understands that the righteous are taken away to be spared from evil. 2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.
