The first LSU game is mere days away, and the Krewe of BATT is gearing up for big fun! The "Ant Patrol" was on the job early Sunday, ensuring their fellow BATTers would have a sting-free experience. Amdro was the poison of choice, and both patrollers have assured me we will be celebrating ant-free! What would we do without our early-rising-spotsaving-antkilling comrades?! The excitement is building as our resident gourmets, Jane and Jim, get the ingredients for our delicious party fare. The menu is as follows:
BREAKFAST:
beignets
LUNCH:
shrimp and oyster poboys
DINNER:
drunk chicken
grilled boudin and italian sausage
cajun eggrolls
*oyster shooters will also be provided for those with strong constitutions*
This is not to be confused with the jello shooters our favorite new member will be providing!
The Krewe of BATT has always prided itself on being open to everyone. Personally, I think the younger men members need to step up and do their part to provide a little eye candy for the women! We need some hot males to counteract the constant state of drooling many of our male BATTers find themselves in. This state, of course, is caused by the constant parade of hotties (or hoochies....you decide!) at the tailgate next door. Any man looking to interview for the hot guy position in our group, see Heather......she will be standing close to the brown likker......guarding it from Marsha!
Many out of town visitors are expected to descend on our tailgate this week. Word on the street is Baby Jack will grace us with his presence! Will he be able to stick to his self-imposed ban on brown likker? Or, will Nick draw him over to the dark side? Only time will tell! What stories will young Jill M have to share with our group about her teaching gig in Houston? Culley and Michelle are also scheduled to make an appearance. Rumor is Michelle and our gourmets may even make the early morning trek with the ant patrol. Brandon and Kristen will also be joining us for the festivities. If you meet them, be sure to speak slowly and use small words...as they are AGGIES!!!!!!!!!! Come one, come all.......come READY TO PARTY!!!!!! GEAUX TIGERS!!!!!!!!!!!

Heather this is awesome. Great job. I didn't quite understand the comments about male hotties. From my discussions with the female BATTers, the male hotties were already at the tailgate and have been at the same tailgate for years. Did I misunderstand?
JT is absolutely correct!!! The male batters have been here for many years. Miss Heather suffers from Cooper Pooper Syndrome. He always makes her judgement questionable.
